Best Supplements For Weight Loss And Muscle Gain

With such a large percentage of our population overweight today, it's a good thing that we have as many resources as we do to lose weight. We have various exercise programs and equipment, we have dozens, if not hundreds, of effective diet plans to choose from, and we also have supplements for weight Loss and muscle gain. The trick than becomes how to choose the right products and methods for you, your goals, and your lifestyle. That's where I can help.

The first thing you have to remember, no matter what anyone tells you, is that to lose weight you will need to burn more calories than you take in. Period. The things I listed above can help, but you won't be able to sit on your couch eating potato chips all day and expect to lose weight...no matter what the commercials might tell you.

It's easy to be mislead today with all the hyped up claims on t.v. Every time we turn on the t.v. we are bombarded with claims of the newest wonder product to help us lose weight. It could be the latest break through piece of exercise equipment, or the latest diet, but don't fall for the hype. Yes, those things can help, but you will have to combine diet, exercise, and if you choose, a weight loss supplement.

Weight loss supplements can work in one of two ways: they can help you curb your appetite and many of the food cravings you may have, or they can increase your metabolism so you burn more calories.

By now, most people know that to cut way down on what you eat is not an effective method to lose weight. We now know that our bodies are like a furnace and they need fuel to keep burning hot. Without enough fuel they will simply burn much, much less hot. So if we deprive our bodies of the food they need our body will think it's starving and it will try to reserve any resources it can to protect it for the long term. That will make weight loss impossible.

By using a supplement that keep our metabolism burning hot we are counteracting this process.

When the supplement we choose helps us curb our appetite the benefit we get is obvious: we take in fewer calories. Add to that increased physical activity and we are burning more calories than we are taking in which is rule number 1 for weight loss.

Be careful of any product that makes exaggerated claims. Our society seems to want something for nothing. We are all lured by promises of fast and easy weight loss , and that is true and possible, to a point. The fact is that you will need to get some exercise and eat properly too. At the end of the day we should be more concerned with our overall health than just worried about some number on our scales.

Take a little time, and get some help if necessary, and put together a reasonable weight loss plan. Include some form of exercise, try to pick something that you will enjoy and want to stick with, eat a better more balanced diet, and find the best fat loss supplement for you and your weight loss goals. It is possible to achieve the healthy weight you want to be, and there are things that can help. Good luck!

- Former governor Mahmuda Shinkafi of Zamfara state has left the PDP for the APC
- Shinkafi led his supporters to the ruling party and was received by the deputy governor of the state
- He promised to play roles in the advancement of the APC in both Zamfara and Nigeria
Mahmuda Shinkafi, the former governor of Zamfara state, has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Shinkafi has now picked the APC membership card at the party’s secretariat in Gusau, the capital of the state.
The report said Shinkafi was accompanied to the venue by party supporters and was received by state’s deputy governor, Ibrahim Wakkala, on behalf of Governor Abdul’Aziz Yari.
After picking his membership card, Shinkafi promised to work for the development of the party not only at the state level but the country as a whole.
“My coming to APC is home coming for me, because I left it before and now I am back home to my brothers and sisters.
“Together we are going to work for the party to become stronger and the party to beat in the state,” he said.
On his part, Wakkala said: “It is not a matter of coming back but it is a return to the fold of Yarimawa. Together we are going to build the APC to become more vibrant and a viable political party in the state and country.”
Shinkafi was a deputy governor during the administration of Ahmad Sani for eight years under the platform of the All Nigerian Peoples Party (ANPP).

He sought re-election in 2011 and 2015 and lost to incumbent Governor Abdul’Aziz Yari of the APC.

Anambra Decides: Two Anti-election IPOB Members Arrested – Police

The Anambra State Police Command on Thursday said it arrested two suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, at a printing press in Onitsha.
“We recovered thousands of pamphlets printed by the IPOB members who were planning to distribute same to the public in order to cause apprehension and prevent people from exercising their franchise during the Anambra State Governorship election slated for 18 November 2017“, the state Commissioner of Police, Garba Baba Umar said in a statement.
Mr. Umar said the printing press was raided at about
11:00 a.m. following an intelligence report.
According to a police, the suspects arrested during the operation were identified as Udeagha Ebube Chukwu, 27, and Elochukwu Okoloji, 37.
The commissioner further assured law abiding citizens in the state that it will not relent in its efforts towards ensuring safe and secured environment before, during and after the election.
Chief among some of the hurdles before the successful conduct of the election is the call for its boycott by the Nnamdi Kanu-led separatist IPOB group.
The group says it does not want the November 18 election to hold until the Nigerian government accedes to its demand for a referendum for the realisation of the breakaway state of Biafra.
However, Mr. Kanu’s whereabouts remain unknown after clashes occurred between IPOB members and soldiers who were on a military operation in Abia State.
As the clashes continued, the military labelled IPOB a terrorist organisation, a decision later backed by the federal government through a court order. While Mr. Kanu’s lawyer accused the army of kidnapping his client on September 14.

Ahead of the forthcoming election, heads of security formations in Anambra said they are ready to provide adequate security , before, during and after the November 18 governorship election in the state.
The police commissioner, Mr. Umar said 28,000 personnel will be deployed to man the election.

What You Must Know Before Going Natural

Do you have what it takes to become a natural goddess? Do you have the adequate knowledge required before you make that big decision of becoming a naturalista? If the answer is yes, good but if your answer is no, am here for you. To make a decision is easy but the actions to abide by that decision is what makes it hard to stay natural. The action includes patient, hope, determination and many more.
It is not just about being natural, it is all about staying natural. One relaxer kit is enough to vanish your years of being natural. I have seen a lot of posts and youtube videos about people expressing how bad they felt after relaxing their hair, how they relaxed their hair after 10 years of being natural. It is not their fault, it is because they thought it is all about being natural not knowing it is all about staying natural. For you to stay natural, you need to have some basic knowledge to get you through the natural hair journey which includes knowing about the pros and cons of natural hair, porosity, products for natural hair, the type of natural hair you have etc.
I have been natural for 1 year and I can tell you its not easy and sometimes I imagined and asked myself, how would I have felt if am still relaxed? but I can't answer the question unless I relax my hair but I can't because I made that strong decision to stay natural no matter what i face in this journey. So before you make that strong decision to big chop your hair, allow me to emphasize on the pros and cons of natural.

THE PROS OF NATURAL HAIR

  • Natural hair is versatile

I wonder why people think you cant style natural hair in different ways. That is far from the truth you can always rock your natural hair however you want from a messy bun to an afro style depending on the lenght of your hair.

  • Water, Natural hair's best friend
You dont have to be scared when water drops on your hair or be scared to follow your friends to the pool just to catch fun, once you are natural, you have nothing to worry about.

  • Styling natural hair is economical

When my hair was permed, I had a hard time maintaining my permed hair because it takes a lot of time and those burns I got from relaxers pisses me off. You can always wet your natural hair overnight, twist it and you can rock a nice twist out the following day.

  • Natural hair can be cared for without chemicals

You dont need chemicals on your hair before you can care for it. The avocado, castor oil, olive oil and those banana you see every day in your kitchen has a lot of benefits for your natural hair.

  • Fall in love with the gym

The reason why ladies find it hard to hit the gym is because we dont want the sweat from our body to affect our hair but when you are natural, you will fall in love with the gym.

  • Natural hair is thick

Natural hair does tend to be thicker . This is because your hair follicles are textured. The natural hair follicles have lots of disulfide bonds which create the curls in the hair and give it texture. Chemically relaxed hair has been altered. The follicles have been broken down so that they don’t curl. This decreases the amount of texture, therefore leaving your head of hair to feel and appear thinner.

  • Best of all:

Being confident enough in yourself to not care what anyone else think of you or your hair. Inferiority complex is a no to Natural hair lovers.

CONS OF NATURAL HAIR

  • Natural hair tangles
Natural hair is definitely a challenge to detangle. Though there are several methods that can help to reduce the detangling process, it’s still a process. Relaxed hair is straight, and therefore can be managed on a daily basis, and even on wash days.

  • Shrinkage frustration
Natural hair shrinks a lot within a very short time. This frustration annoys me but trust me, you will get use to it as time goes on.

  • Wash-day takes longer time
If you are the type that lacks patience, you will find it very hard to stay natural because even your wash day process takes a lot of time from detangling process to L. O. C process.

  • Styling natural hair takes longer time
While shorter hair makes for shorter detangling, it makes up for it by requiring more styling time than for longer hair. Sections for basic styles like twists and twistouts have to be much smaller – whereas I could put my long hair in 8-12 twists to maintain a style, I have to do at least 20 on my little fro. More twists or vbraids sadly means more time.

If you are natural, what are the pros and cons you think should be added to the ones above and what  have you experienced while staying natural? Would you advise your friends and family go natural and why?
